  1. I live on the big island of Hawaii and been here for over 11 years from age 7 to now age 25 it's the most beautiful and peaceful place.☺️

  2. ☺️ Everytime I go to the Big Island I bring my lightweight jungle survival hammock with some basic gear that fits in my backpack and go to my "secret" campground outside hilo for 4-6 days of a 10 day trip depending on weather and length of stay. It keeps me close to town and all the amenities while giving me some real seclusion… During covid most of the obscure areas are even more empty than normal and make for a very cheap vacation if you budget properly.

  3. "Avoid taking home the sand or lava rock, it's bad luck." — This isn't Hawaiian. It's something that a Haole park ranger made up.

  4. Just a note, if you're visiting, please respect the culture, people and nature. But overall, enjoy your visit!

  5. The first thing to do is don't come to Hawaii because most Hawaiians don't want you here. Most haole people are disrespectful and think they are entitled.

  6. Who cares about your pronounciation, dude you probably know more about the island than some of us locals. Thanks for taking the time to study a little and narrating about the Aina, along with thise awesome scenes🤙

  7. I never thought Mauna Kea Was bigger than MT Everest ! Holy frap I’ve been thinking about that this past week. No wonder my head felt like it was going to explode. It’s also cold as hell it’s so cold it’s hot bring a jacket and warm fuzzy insulated boots n gloves

  8. Good vid bro thanks for making it a point to say -respect the locals and no drive like one crazy tourist and no take the sand stuff like that. Mahalos 🤙🏾

  9. Hawaiian Big Island native here! If you want some good breakfast, go to Ken’s Pancake House in Hilo. It’s menú has definitely downgraded but it’s still good. If you want a snack, go to Tex’s. They make some ono malasadas.

  10. Nice video!
Did you realize you did 8 and 9 out of order ?! 🙂

    1) Waipio Valley

    5) Pololu Valley (hike > valley floor river)
    6) Manua Kea (tallest > 4wd to top, cold)

  12. Braddah you take this much time effort and energy and producing something great like this little clip here yet you can’t find enough time to actually pronounce our king’s name properly.
Beyond that you were spot on everything else.
