Which Hawaiian Island Should You Visit –

The Best Time to Visit Hawaii –

  1. Is it legal to run down the beaches naked and drag your balls behind you while leaving a Ditch behind you as you run?

  2. Don’t come to Hawaii right now- we are going on lockdown! No hospital beds available! Local folks are tired, angry and burnt out on visitors. No aloha right now- kala mai.

  3. The Hawaii Covid websites show nothing about vaccine passports. It is apparently not true you only need to show documentation of vaccination, and you still need a test. Should probably update the video!

  4. Today is May 22, 2021. If you’re traveling from the States to Hawaii, do you still have to obtain a COVID-19 test? Or, if you’ve been fully vaccinated, can you enter Hawaii without a test?

  5. Hello! Do you know if uploading vaccination documents to the Safe Travels program will make it so we can avoid testing/quarantine? Has that been rolled out yet? Set to arrive May 30. Thank you!

  6. It’s grossly crowded and traffic is prepandemic. Thanks for posting the info about mask wearing. If only tourists would obey our mandates.

  7. If two working from home professionals were to move to Hawai'i which island would you recommend we move to first. Oahu or Maui. we have been to both islands but are unsure on the location. and Rent: House?, Condo? Buy? and what island might be better to do that on. Any advice would be Great. 🤙

  8. I went there last week. I don't know about other airlines, but if you fly with Alaska Airlines you can preclear on the mainland before you get to Hawaii. They check all your test results and make sure everything is set up correct of the Hawaii department of Health's website and then give you a wristband that says preclear. Once you get to Hawaii there is no waiting in line to have everything checked, you just walk out of the terminal like normal. The line was two hours at OGG when we got there and we just walked right past it.

  9. The idea that folks are travelling this far is a mystery to me. In Canada, no travel for pleasure – we can’t even travel to another province next to us, let alone across the pacific!

  10. Going to kauai in 2 weeks can hardly wait all vaccinated up and ready !!!! Daughter going maui in june so I got excited and sent it to her thanks

  11. 😩 hopefully they left the test mandatory to go to Hawaii soon. I am fully vaccinated but they still want a test and the only one I can get is 200 dollars where I live. I want to go see my brother he is in the army in Honolulu, I haven’t seen him for over a year now.

  12. Respectfully request that you do wear your masks here, even if YOU don't think you need to. It's so stressful for island residents to be around tourists who take advantage of the aloha spirit by basically daring us to say something. We don't want to confront you, so please just be respectful 🙏

  13. Aloha Erica and Jordan! We just got back from Maui about 2 weeks ago and had such a wonderful time despite all the hoops we had to jump thru before traveling! We stayed in Kihei this time and loved it!
As you said, most everything is open. The beaches weren't all that crowded so we can safely socially distance from other folks with out wearing a mask while on the sand. Restaurants were super busy! We were out of luck booking at Star Noodle but managed to snatch an early dinner for 6 at Kimos just 2 days in advance. Ululani's shave ice in Lahaina was definitely a busy, but we timed it right to where there were only a few ahead of us.
Overall, we were just so happy to be in "paradise" again after over a year being mostly locked down at home! We soaked in as much aloha and Hawaiian sun as we could and ate so much Ono food while there. And most of all, we felt very safe with all the strict measures in place and most everyone complying! Can't wait to go back!
Pro tip: regarding rental cars, also look into Turo to rent a car! Support the locals who lost their jobs and are relying on Turo to rent out their vehicles for tourists to rent! Otherwise, get private transportation to and from the airport and Uber/Lyft around town!

  14. @gsstidger great couple/family to follow for updated information on Maui as well as places to visit. (Next Year?)

  15. We also have a Hawaii vlog in on my profile for 2021 during covid if you guys want to check! Your video was very beautiful thank you 🙂

  16. Hi! I wanted to go to Hawaii on a grad trip by myself & a friend. I was curious if you have any advice because many places don’t allow 18 year olds to book a hotel or a car rental. Could you maybe give some advice or do a video on it? I did hear of a place that allows 18 year olds to book a car rental called Paradise. Do you guys believe it’s credible?

  17. This really helps a lot thanks guys.. wife and I are going next month.. Good update on vaccine travel requirements

  18. My wife and I were on Maui from April 10th thru April 19th. Vaccinations do not provide for an exemption to travel to Hawaii nor does it allow for you to island hop.

Beginning the first week of May 2021 only those who have been vaccinated in HAWAII will be allowed to island hop without negative COVID-19 negative tests and beginning in May Maui as well as other islands will begin a secondary COVID-19 test upon landing at the airport regardless if you’ve been prescreened and had a negative COVID-19 test from a trusted partner.

The secondary test will be provided for free however expect to spend 2 – 3 hours in lines at the airports awaiting your secondary test.

Good luck and enjoy! We had a phenomenal time even though we couldn’t island hop as planned.

  19. We just got back from Maui from our very first visit to Hawaii. Your videos were incredibly helpful. We had an amazing trip. Mahalo!

  20. Hi, thank you so much for the information. Can you also do a video on free and convenient places to take tests while traveling inter islands ? Also, when the vaccine passport is accepted by Hawaii?

  21. Just wondering how long did it take you family to do all your itinerary for this video? We will coming I. June 2, and would love to do all of what you showed in this video, we will be there 6 days and 6 nights only. Thanks in advance for the advice. We are also a family of 3. We also have a boy who will be 5 by the time we get there. I hope he’ll love all the adventures too like your son did.

  22. thank you so so much. I've watching many of your videos which help me a lot to plan my perfect honey moon trip in July. We're so exited for it. Do you have any recommendations for Maui photographer you like? or your photographer friends? Thank you

  23. Leaving for Maui on May 3rd! Thanks for your information, very helpful! Will be making reservations ahead of time!

  24. We're headed to Hawaii in early May, thank you for your information. My grand daughter is graduating from Chaminade University in Honolulu…I lived in Honolulu and my son in law and children were born and raised there. Just know that the locals can be a little territorial because of mainlanders who come and not treat the Islands well. Be respectful, pickup your trash, honor traditions, the islanders are all about Aloha unless you disrespect them. Learn about the history of the Islands and you will have a glorious time. LIVE ALOHA

  25. does anyone know if they will accept a covid test from a state that is different than the one being flown out of? I'm getting tested in arizona but flying out of california to maui a couple days later. so would a covid test taken in arizona be accepted to fly out of california?

  26. I went to Hawaii in March and it was beautiful. The COVID test wasn’t a huge deal for me and my week on Oahu was stunning. Would love to go back and visit other islands in the future.

  27. You guys seriously have the best Hawaii Vacation guides, info and updates! Thank you for making them! BTW, I subscribed to download your Oahu Printable Cheat Sheet but there was no download. Not a big deal just thought you might want to fix it =). Thanks again you guys rock!
